Pinnacle Souveran Paste Wax has been all over the news as the best formulated wax to use on a car if a deep, glossy shine is desired. After reading up on the ingredients and discovering that the manufacturer has actually refined yellow carnauba wax into a form that outshines the yellow wax, I decided to make the investment in the wax and judge for myself if everything I had been hearing was accurate.

There are several things I learned from my experiment. First, this is an expensive product to purchase. It comes in an 8 ounce container with a wax applicator and micro fiber cloth. The manufacturer states that the container holds approximately 30 applications, but I have not had it long enough to find out if this is accurate. Still, look at spending around $90.00 if you cannot find it on sale anywhere because this is pricey in any economy. You have to look at this as a long-term investment when making the purchase. Good things come in small packages.

The second thing I noticed is that the packaging is awkward when trying to get the wax out of the container. The opening is a little small, and you have to maneuver the wax applicator a bit in order to get the wax out. However, once the wax was on the applicator, it went on the car easily and had a nice smell that made the job a little more enjoyable. After the first coat, I was able to see a difference in a paint job on which I had almost given up. After the second coat, I was on top of the world, and to make matters even better, it did not leave any messy and annoying residue when I cleaned up which is always a plus.

The third thing I learned is, in my opinion, the most important. The manufacturer claims that the wax lasts 90 days on a vehicle. However, I noticed, with the daily driving of my car, the lower areas did not seem to gleam as much as the upper areas at the end of the week. It rained quite a bit autel maxicheck pro, and while the water beading was beautiful in the beginning, it deteriorated. My car still looked better than it had before, but 90 days had not passed. However, the paint on my car was in bad shape when I started out Autel MaxiSys Mini. So, with prolonged use of the wax and repeated applications, this may work itself out.

I can say that when I bought Pinnacle Souveran Paste Wax I was skeptical. I had used many different products that promised amazing results, and I repeatedly was disappointed in the mess I was left with cleaning up. Besides the price of the wax, all my other concerns were small in comparison to the benefits I gained by using it on my vehicle. I will definitely continue to purchase and use it because I can see that, in this case, the pros definitely outweigh the cons.

Pictures: Pinnacle Souveran Paste Wax
